Lynda joins Ken & Megan from the Upper Oakville Shopping Centre for the cheque presentation to Major Higdon from the Salvation Army
UOSC Presents Cheque Doantion to the Salvation Arny
Megan Richardson and Ken Stockstill from the Upper Oakville Shopping Centre (UOSC) recently presented a cheque in the amount of $5,120 to Major Higdon from the Salvation Army. They were joined by Lynda Horgan whose late husband Jim was the driving force behind the fundraising inititative. Jim was a long time friend and patron of the UOSC and Niblick Pub in particular. It was there where Jim made a lot of the collections himself in support of this very worthy cause. The fundraiser took place over a two month period with all proceeds going to the Salvation Army Food Bank.
