2008 July > Celebrating Seniors Day at Trafalgar Lodge

With June designated as Seniors’ Month across Canada, The Trafalgar Lodge Retirement Residence hosted a Community Hawaiian Luau fundraising event on “Celebrating Seniors Day” as part of parent company Revera Inc.’s 3rd annual corporate fundraising initiative to support the Canadian Diabetes Association's commitment to research, care, education and advocacy for people with Diabetes. Residents and guests enjoyed an authentic Hawaiian Luau to celebrate the customs and culinary delights of this favourite travel destination for seniors. Folks feasted on pig roast barbeque and enjoyed hula dancers and Hawaiin music.
