2008 July > Community BBQ at Maurice & Margaret Drive

The Halton Community Housing Corporation (HCHC) hosted a BBQ for the residents of the properties located at Maurice and Margaret Drive in Oakville. Sponsors also included the Halton Regional Police, Kerr St Ministries and the Sanctuary at Kerr. The evening was balmy, the food plentiful and there were lots of activities and games for children to keep them both delighted and entertained. A police cruiser was even provided for the teens to inspect. It was a party with a true sense of “Community”!
