2008 July > "Tea On The Bluffs" at Sovereign House The Bronte Historical Society served Devonshire Tea on Bronte Bluffs at Sovereign House on Father's Day. It was an afternoon to take time from busy schedules and go back in time. Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Sovereign, wearing an original dress design, and her best friend Sarah were there to share their knowledge of the history of 1850. Friends wandered the cool glades and watched the boats on Lake Ontario from this magnificent property and had High Tea served by members of the Historical Society and young people who were also delighted to be a part of this amazing afternoon.
