2008 July > Annual WRRA Picnic The West River Residents Association (WRRA) recently held their annual picnic in Forster Park just off of Kerr St. to the delight of the kids and adults alike. This incredibly popular event features lots of different games, raffles, tatoos, face-painting and, of course, a delicious BBQ. The WWRA consists of 750 houses and 12 apartment buildings that stretch from Speers Rd. to Rebecca and from Kerr St. to the 16 Mile Creek. There are eight volunteer Board members who deal with issues that affect the nearly 3,000 residents in the area. Neighbours volunteer their help at community social events and other events such as planting trees, flowers and cleaning up on Earth Day. For more information, please visit www.wrra-oakville.ca
