2008 July > STA Charity Car Wash

Ms. McConnell’s 11th grade students were given the task of organizing and carrying out a charity car wash for their culminating assignment. The students washed cars, barbecued lunch, had a bake sale and sold raffle tickets for their cause. At the end of their assignment, they had raised over $1,500 from their efforts which will be directed toward Ryan’s Well. One of the organization's missions is to educate youth on the importance of clean water and sanitation.
