Munns Annual Valentine's High Tea
Munn's Annual Valentine's High Tea featuring tea tasting, yummy homemade scones, strawberry jam and assorted sandwiches was held on Valentine’s Day. A highlight of the afternoon was a Tea Trivia Contest resulting in fanciful information about teas including Orange Pekoe, Jasmine Green, Love Rovibus and White Tea. From the heart of the kitchen to the tea tasters, each person was trying to show their heart by buying teas and donating the proceeds to the Food Banks of Oakville. In Oakville alone more than 7% of the people live below the poverty level and depend on the Food Banks each day. This was a delightful afternoon of helping others!
