Oakville Sports Hall of Fame Induction Gala

The Oakville Sports Hall of Fame 7th Gala Induction Dinner honoured six outstanding Oakville athletes and contributors to sport. Inducted into the OSHOF, were athletes Tom Fergus, Toronto Maple Leaf Alumni and Olympic swimmer Andrew Hurd; builders Dick Grimm (golf), John Gilbert (badminton), Bob MacKinnon (hockey) and Mark O'Donnell (speed skating). The OSHOF has honoured over 30 significant sporting individuals including Olympic medallists, premier professional athletes, award winning coaches/builders, and an elite high school team. Their accomplishments, determination and perseverance have resulted in world-class rankings athletes and the development of outstanding sports organizations within the Oakville community.
