Bonhomme at the Forest Trail Carnaval Olympics
"Bonhomme Carnaval Goes to the Olympics"
Ecole Forest Trail celebrated a week-long Carnaval with the theme, “ Bonhomme Carnaval Goes to the Olympics”. The Olympic Flame, created by Paige, one of the students, and carried by students, arrived during the Opening Ceremonies. Also featured was a performance from Chris Rawlings. There were pancakes, music by the Oakville Celtic Fiddle Club, Olympic Games and relays and crafts created by the students. Posters of the participating countries were held high and Bonhomme, always a favourite, was there to help the Forest Trail students celebrate and to crown the Carnaval King and Queen, Matt and Anja!
